Director of Marketing
US/NZ - Remote
Base :USD$130k + Bonus + Equity
This is not a “brand” marketing role.
This is a pipeline role.
You know how to build demand in enterprise B2B. You’ve done it with a lean team, strong content, and smart use of AI. You don’t just write strategy, you execute it.
You’ll own pipeline generation globally, working directly with the CEO and alongside sales. You’ll lead a small, capable team and set the direction from day one.

What you’ll be responsible for
Pipeline, first and always
Own pipeline targets. Not activity. Not impressions. Pipeline.
Design and run ABM programs targeting senior CX, Insights and VoC leaders in large US enterprises
Build and execute account-based plays that directly support sales outcomes
ABM + content that actually converts
Develop content that supports buying journeys, not vanity metrics
Ensure everything produced feeds into pipeline generation
Align messaging to real customer outcomes and keep it current as positioning evolves
AI-led execution
Use AI tools to move faster and smarter
Build repeatable workflows and coach the team to do the same
Stay close to how buyers are using AI to discover solutions and ensure visibility there
Events that drive revenue
Work closely with events to ensure they are tied to ABM strategy
Define target audiences, follow-up, and conversion approach
Make events accountable to pipeline, not just attendance
Leadership
Lead and grow a small team across content, design, web and events
Operate as a player-coach — set the strategy and get hands-on when needed
Partner closely with sales and leadership to align on priorities and outcomes
What you bring
Non-negotiables
5–10 years in B2B SaaS marketing
At least 3 years driving enterprise pipeline
Proven ABM experience — targeting, mapping buying groups, running personalised plays
Strong content instincts — you can brief it, edit it, and write it yourself when needed
Comfortable using AI tools to accelerate output and improve quality
Data-led — you track pipeline, test, adjust, and repeat
Confident presenting to senior stakeholders and enterprise buyers
Experience working in scaling environments where things aren’t fully built yet
Nice to have (but not essential)
Experience in CX / VoC / customer insights space
Familiarity with tools like Medallia or Qualtrics
Experience building AI-driven workflows or agents
Strong LinkedIn campaign experience (targeted, not generic brand ads)
Exposure to PR and category building
