The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Functional Lead to play a critical role in the delivery of a large-scale Salesforce transformation programme.

This role will lead functional design and business solution alignment across multiple Salesforce CRM domains, working closely with stakeholders, delivery teams and platform specialists to ensure business requirements are translated into scalable, effective and sustainable Salesforce solutions.

You will act as the bridge between business and technology, ensuring the platform delivers meaningful operational and customer outcomes while maximising the value of standard Salesforce capability.

This is a senior functional leadership role requiring strong CRM expertise, stakeholder engagement capability and experience operating within enterprise-scale agile delivery environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead functional solution design across Salesforce CRM platforms and business domains

  • Translate business requirements into scalable Salesforce configurations and functional specifications

  • Partner closely with business stakeholders to validate requirements, priorities and functional outcomes

  • Guide and mentor functional consultants, analysts and delivery squad members

  • Ensure optimal use of standard Salesforce functionality and platform best practice

  • Support backlog refinement, requirements gathering and user story development

  • Collaborate with architects, developers and delivery leads to ensure successful implementation outcomes

  • Contribute to platform governance, design standards and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Support change management, business readiness and user adoption activities

  • Participate in agile ceremonies and enterprise transformation planning activities

  • Manage functional dependencies, risks and stakeholder expectations across delivery streams

Technical Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years’ experience delivering Salesforce functional solutions within enterprise environments

  • Deep functional expertise across Salesforce CRM ecosystems including Sales Cloud and Service Cloud

  • Strong understanding of CRM business processes, customer lifecycle management and operational workflows

  • Proven experience translating complex business requirements into scalable platform capability

  • Experience leading functional streams within agile delivery environments

  • Strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation and communication capability

  • Experience working across enterprise-scale transformation programmes

  • Understanding of platform governance, configuration best practice and functional solution design

  • Exposure to enterprise integration ecosystems and cross-platform delivery environments

  • Experience within financial services, banking, insurance or other highly regulated industries highly regarded

  • Strong understanding of compliance, governance, risk and customer data considerations within enterprise technology environments
