The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Solution Architect to lead the architecture and solution design of a major enterprise Salesforce transformation programme.

This role will play a critical part in defining scalable, secure and future-focused Salesforce architecture across multiple business domains and integrated enterprise platforms. You will provide architectural leadership across solution design, integration strategy, platform governance and delivery execution while ensuring alignment between business objectives and enterprise technology standards.

The successful candidate will bring deep Salesforce ecosystem expertise, strong enterprise architecture capability and experience operating within highly regulated and large-scale transformation environments.

This is a senior strategic role requiring a balance of technical depth, stakeholder leadership and delivery pragmatism.

Key Responsibilities / Activities

• Lead end-to-end Salesforce solution architecture across enterprise transformation programmes

• Define scalable and secure Salesforce platform architecture aligned to business strategy

• Design integration architecture across CRM, enterprise applications and third-party platforms

• Provide architectural governance, standards and technical leadership across delivery teams

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners and engineering teams to define solution direction

• Ensure optimal use of Salesforce platform capability and enterprise best practice

• Support solution estimation, roadmap planning and technical delivery strategy

• Guide development teams through complex technical and architectural decisions

• Ensure architecture aligns with compliance, security, resilience and operational requirements

• Contribute to enterprise architecture practices, continuous improvement and innovation initiatives

• Support risk management, dependency planning and delivery governance activities

Technical Skills & Experience

• 12+ years’ experience delivering Salesforce solutions within enterprise environments

• Proven experience as a Salesforce Solution Architect across large-scale transformation programmes

• Deep understanding of Salesforce platform architecture and ecosystem capability

• Strong experience designing enterprise integration solutions, APIs and distributed systems

• Experience working within Azure and/or cloud-native enterprise environments

• Strong understanding of enterprise security, governance and platform scalability principles

• Experience leading architecture decisions across complex multi-system environments

• Strong stakeholder engagement and executive communication capability

• Experience operating within agile and scaled delivery frameworks

• Exposure to financial services, banking, insurance or other highly regulated industries highly regarded

• Strong understanding of compliance, governance, risk and customer data management within enterprise technology ecosystems

• Salesforce certifications highly regarded, including Application Architect, System Architect or Certified Technical Architect pathways
